Electrolytic Polishing

Electropolishing is a material removal process using specially formulated electrolytes to anodically dissolve metal. The workpiece acts as the anode in an electrochemical cell. Electropolishing reduces micro-roughness while maintaining macrostructures. Edges and corners are polished more intensively, resulting in fine deburring across the entire surface.
